Rev. Larry Martineau, Pastor
Larry came to Lonoke First United Methodist Church in June of 2011 from DeWhit United Methodist Church, having done five years of service as a Pastor. Larry attended college at ASU- Beebe, Henderson State University, South Arkansas University in Magnolia, Arkansas Perkins School of Theology, and Saint Paul School of Theology. Larry served the Arkansas conference as an Elder in the United Methodist Church. Larry loves to preach and has a fun time in the Pulpit on Sunday Morning. Larry married his wife, Linda, August 12, 1972. They had three children, now grown, together: John, Ashley, and Sara, and one here that has one child (his grandchild) Jaxon, the six year old joy to their lives.
Anna Jane Lipton-McCormick, Church Secretary
Greg Taylor, Music Director
Greg is a native of Texas and has degrees in music from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Master of Sacred Music and a Master of Religious Education from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Greg has conducted church choirs and handbell choirs for the past 25 years in Texas and Arkansas. In 1993, he directed the Little Rock Conference Youth Choir tour to Washington D.C. and sang for the President and First Lady in the Rose Garden. He has led VIM missions groups to Rio Bravo Mexico and is a trained Disciple Bible Study leader. Recently, he served on the Arkansas Conference Worship Committee. He has sang with choirs at Carnegie Hall on two occasions and is an adjunct faculty member at UALR teaching Music Fundamentals. Greg enjoys traveling, spending time with family and collecting old toys.
Andrea Caldwell, Custodian
Andrea has been our custodian for three years now. Prior to that she helped her grandparents and great uncle who were the custodians before her. Andrea is 19 and has been a part of this church since she started helping her great uncle clean the church back when she was 9 years old. Andrea graduated from high school in May of 2008 and is now a student at Arkansas State University in Beebe working toward a bachelor's degree in teaching language arts and social sciences with an emphasis in history at the Junior High level. Her goal is to obtain a master's degree in this field and teach at the college level. Andrea also works at the Lonoke Child Care Center.
Pamela Weatherford, Nursery Director
During the work week, Pamela is employed by the Lonoke Child Care Center as the Lead Teacher in the Infant Room. She began working at the Child Care Center in March 2008 and began working as the church Nursery Director in October 2009.
